Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (Travel)
Location: Fresno, California
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks (interpreted as weeks)
Shift: 36 GWW Days, immediate backfill
Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment. Immediate start to cover a 36 GWW day shift.
Required Credentials & Certifications
Personal Health History
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine and 1 booster or approved exemption (optional).
- MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or positive IGG titer; if negative titer, booster or declination accepted.
- Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations, positive antibody titer, or declination accepted; if negative titer, booster or declination accepted.
- TB Test: Negative TB skin test, QuantiFERON Gold, or T-spot within 30 days of start; updated annually. If positive, must provide history and chest x-ray within 5 years.
- Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination accepted.
- Tdap: Proof of vaccination within past 10 years or declination accepted.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required October - March unless exempted for medical/religious reasons.
- Drug Screen: 9-panel (minus THC) within 30 days of start, updated annually; rapid drug screen accepted.
- Covid Test: Required on start date for clinical staff (optional).
Certifications
- BLS: AHA or ARC certification required.
- ACLS: AHA or ARC certification required.
- NRP: Must be completed through AAP NRP learning platform.
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring: Required once every 2 years.
Professional Credentials
- License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license (Nursys or equivalent) within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration.
- Driver's License/State ID: Clear copy required; passport accepted.
- Criminal Background Check: 7-year county and national check, SSN trace, employment verification (5 years), OFAC, NSO; must be within 30 days of start and updated every 3 years.
- OIG Search, EPLS, OFAC, National Sex Offender Search: Manual searches within 30 days of start, updated annually.
- Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List: Must be checked within 30 days prior to assignment and updated monthly.
- Professional References: Minimum 2 professional references, including 1 supervisory.
- CHS Profile (Resume): Required for submission.
- CHS Skills Checklist: Clinical skill-specific checklist required within 1 year of start.
- CHS Confirmation of Assignment/Job Description: Must be available and updated with each extension.
- CHS Acknowledgement of Receipt for Policy Packet: Must be signed and dated by candidate.
- CHS Dispute Resolution Agreement: Must be signed and dated by candidate.
- CHS Badge Photo: Neutral background, forward facing, no facial jewelry.
- CHS ROI for MyChart: Must be initialed, signed, and dated by candidate.
- CHS Any DNS (Do Not Rehire/Send): Attestation of any known DNS record from prior 3 years on agency letterhead.
Additional Information
- All documentation must be current and compliant with the specified timelines.
- Some credentials and checks are required on or before the start date.
