Overview

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
Role includes working with primary and team nursing

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Stroke experience

Preferred Qualifications

COVID-19 vaccine documentation or declination is optional

Onboarding Notes

If influenza declination is used, traveler must wear a mask at all times while on assignment
PAPR may be provided if needed
Fit testing may be completed on-site if needed
Education verification for RNs is for the initial degree in the field; if both ASN and BSN are held, the ASN should be verified
For past positive TB tests, follow-up steps may be required, including CXR within 12 months
The physical/health statement must include height, weight, vitals, Snellen eye chart, and a statement of no restrictions
The drug screen must not include marijuana
The core competency exam must score 80% or higher and is updated annually
