Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technician

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Friday to Monday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Shared housing provided at no cost

Required Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification by ARDMS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
• Must meet all professional license and certification verification requirements (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30) with no exemptions
  • TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Completion of FEMA ICS 100 Training prior to onboarding
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender check, and exclusion checks within 30-45 days prior to start date
• Submission of:

  • Resume with past 7 years of work experience
  • Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above) in the skillset
  • Skills checklist
  • Candidate submission coversheet

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Higher years of specialty experience are not specified beyond certification requirements
• Must comply with all health and safety protocols as outlined
