Job Description

• Position: Pediatric Psychiatric RN working night shifts and every other weekend, approximately 36 hours per week.
• Unit: Inpatient Pediatric Psychiatry for children and adolescents ages 3 to 17.
• Patient Population: Children ages 4-18 requiring 24-hour inpatient care.
• Environment: Nurturing, non-coercive child and adolescent behavioral health program.
• Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 3 patients.
• Bed Count: 30 beds with a census of 20-25 patients.
• EMR System: EPIC.
• Floating: Required to other behavioral health areas within the unit.
• Rotating Shifts: Up to 20% rotation for day positions; not required for night shifts.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience at one hospital or location.
• Psychiatric nursing experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
