Location: Cooperstown, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

Seeking skilled Cath Lab Technicians with solid experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and advanced imaging technology. Candidates should be proficient with Philips x-ray equipment, Xper monitoring system, and Epic software to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role is suited for technicians who can function efficiently in a high-acuity setting.

Shift and Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week)
• On-call approximately 1 weekday per week
• On-call every 5th to 6th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• License/Certificate verification required before onboarding
• Must meet core competencies, unit exam, and skills checklist requirements
• Required health screenings and immunizations before onboarding:

  • MMR
  • Fit Test
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza Vaccine
  • TB Test and Annual TB Questionnaire
  • Varicella
  • Physical/Health Statement
• Professional requirements before onboarding:

  • Driver’s License or State ID
  • Criminal background check
  • Employment verification
  • Education verification
  • Professional references (2)
  • Drug screen
  • National and State Sex Offender Registry checks
  • Submission of resume, skills checklist, license verification, BLS, and any additional required certifications

Equipment and Software Used

• Philips x-ray equipment
• Xper monitoring system
• Epic software for documentation and care coordination
