Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist (Night Shift)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No weekends scheduled
• On-call Friday, Saturday, Sunday every other weekend

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current X-Ray Technologist license for Illinois (must be verified within 30 days prior to assignment)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Must complete facility-specific onboarding and attestations

Required Health & Compliance

• Documentation of vaccinations and health screenings including:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (mask required if declined during flu season)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (updated annually)
• Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment, updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start, with MRO review if applicable

Additional Requirements

• Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
• Professional references (at least two) prior to first assignment
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 30 days prior to start
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Skills checklist for specialty completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and valid)
• Compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory standards

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Onboarding includes completion of facility-specific modules and attestations.
• The Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form is completed onsite.
