Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description

Work schedule: Every Other Week (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Minimum 2 years full-time adult Emergency Department (ED) experience required
Prior travel experience required
Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system
May be required to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Prior travel nursing experience
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

Driver’s license or state ID must be current and match address on file
May be required to complete non-violent crisis intervention training (MOAB or CPI), updated every 2 years
Onboarding includes multiple required attestations and education modules specific to nursing contingent workers

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room RNs with travel experience who are comfortable working night shifts and adapting to floating assignments within a 40-mile radius.
