Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 07:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours
Holiday Requirement: Must work any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift
Job Description
Seeking an OR Registered Nurse with Neuroendovascular experience to provide specialized surgical nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Operating Room (OR) experience
Health and Safety Requirements
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
- Varicella (two vaccines, immunity evidence, or history verified; no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes
- If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
- Annual 12-panel drug screen prior to start and with any break in service over 90 days
- Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
Onboarding and Compliance
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding modules including core competencies, Cerner test-out, and unit-specific checklists
- Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
- Completion of all required documentation and attestations prior to or at start of assignment
