Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• No call, weekends off
• Holidays: rotating with regular staff
• Experience required with Siemens and/or Toshiba CT scanners
• Independent CT experience required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• May need to float to nearby facilities if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Independent CT experience
• Experience with Siemens CT and/or Toshiba CT scanners

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Professional resume/profile
• Two professional references
• Signed assignment agreement upon onboarding
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Driver’s license or state ID (valid, not expired)
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics
• Medical and health requirements including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal; exemptions require mask wearing)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Tdap vaccine within last 10 years
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (3M 1860 or 1870+ masks)
  • TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA, chest x-ray if positive)
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and annually thereafter
• Background checks including criminal history, EPLS, and drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
• Specialty exam demonstrating competency in CT prior to first assignment and every 3 years thereafter (minimum 80% passing score)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Color vision test prior to start and every 3 years

Additional Notes

• Onboarding includes completion of a 6-hour Medical Imaging Contract Worker education attestation
• Badge photo required (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed

This position is suitable for CT Technologists with experience on Siemens and Toshiba scanners, comfortable working night shifts, and able to meet comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
