Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technician

Location: Middleburg, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (36 hours/week)
Holiday Requirement: Must work any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift

Job Description

Perform ultrasound imaging procedures as required. Preferred credentials include OB ultrasound experience. General ABD and RVT credentials are required.

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Recent ultrasound technologist experience within the last year
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
• Vascular Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Required Credentials and Documentation

• Current professional license/certification with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
• Resume or professional profile.
• At least two professional references.
• Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and match address on file).
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation.
• Background checks including criminal background, social security trace, and national sex offender registry.
• Core competencies completed within the last year (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.) with a minimum passing score.
• Skills checklist for ultrasound specialty completed within one year and updated annually.
• Education verification relevant to clinical work completed within 90 days of start.
• Health and immunization documentation including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella (two vaccines or immunity evidence, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Tdap (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine (optional, but mask required if declined during flu season)
  • TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA with annual questionnaire; chest X-ray if positive)
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be done onsite)
• Drug screening: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters).

Additional Notes

• This position requires working overnight shifts including weekends.
• Must be available to work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts.
• Onboarding includes completion of a medical imaging contract worker education attestation.
• Some documentation and onboarding steps are completed onsite.
• Compliance with all facility-required screenings, background checks, and credential verifications is mandatory.
