Specialty Overview
- Inserts PICC lines, central lines, mid-lines, and peripheral IV catheters.
- Monitors and documents patient condition.
- Serves as a resource for vascular access device insertion and maintenance.
- Provides patient, family, and staff education on catheter use and care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Vascular Access experience within the last year
- 2 years of Vascular Access experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
