Role Details
- OR circulating nurse
- Experience with neuro/spine, ortho, GYN, urology, robotics, plastics, general/colorectal, burns, transplant (kidney), and trauma
- Call is required: no overnight weekday call; call is in 4-hour increments during evenings and weekends only
- One major and one minor holiday assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR Circulate experience within the last year
- 2 years of OR Circulate experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
- Plastic Surgery experience
- Burn experience
- Trauma experience
Onboarding / Compliance
- Specialty exam completed before first assignment, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark; only 2 attempts allowed
- Core competencies completed within one year of start, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark; only 2 attempts allowed
- Education attestation completed after pre-hire training
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Cerner test-out required
- Badge photo required
- Criminal background check required
- EPLS required
- OFAC required
