Overview

• Location: Jacksonville, Florida
• Employment type: Long-term assignment
• Contract length: 15 weeks
• Shift: 06:45 - 19:15
• Schedule notes: 36- or 48-hour contracts accepted; every other weekend required; holidays based on unit need

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Resume
• At least 2 professional references
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of start and updated annually

Onboarding / Compliance

• Color vision screening completed before start and updated every 3 years
• Core competencies completed within 1 year of start and updated every 3 years
• EKG exam with passing score of at least 80%; 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years
• Nursing onboarding education attestation
• Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
• Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules
• Cerner test-out
• Badge photo
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation required
• MMR documentation required
• Fit test required
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Influenza vaccine documentation required
• Health statement or physical exam required
• Driver’s license or state ID required
• TB screening documentation required
• Varicella documentation required
• Tdap documentation required
• Criminal background check results
• EPLS check

• 12-panel drug screen
