Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Clinton, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room care. This is a long-term contract position requiring commitment for approximately 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with experience within the last year
• Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• Pediatric Emergency Nursing Course (ENPC) certification

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Fit Test
• 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, no THC)
• COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster or approved declination/exemption)
• MMR vaccination or immunity proof
• Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of initiation required prior to start)
• Influenza vaccine or approved declination/exemption
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
• Tdap vaccine (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)

Professional and Background Requirements

• Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
• Education Verification (highest level of academic education)
• Employment and Professional License Sanctions checks (EPLS, OIG, NSO) within 30 days of start
• Signed Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality and Security Agreements
• Specialty Specific Competency Testing (completed within the last year)
• Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
• System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
• State-specific criminal history and abuse registry checks (Iowa)

• All certifications and licenses must be scanned and uploaded with expiration dates visible, including front and back images of cards where applicable.
• Verification documents must be current and completed within specified timeframes prior to assignment start.
• This position requires adherence to all professional and health compliance standards as outlined.
