Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Perform cytotechnology duties with a workload of 50-60 slides per day (up to 300 slides per week).
Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime is billable after 40 hours.
Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
Orientation dates available in mid-July.
Use of EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
Equipment experience required with BD Focal Point and BD Surepath systems.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cytotechnologist, including experience within the last year.
Completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program.
ASCP certification.

Clinical interview pre-screening conducted via phone/text from a specific area code.
Employee separation policy restricts certain past employees from working travel assignments in this market.
Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
EMR experience with EPIC highly preferred; Sunquest experience also highly preferred.
