Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of successful leadership experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience in successful conflict resolution (preferred)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of daily operations in an acute care Medical Center, including emergency/trauma and critical care situations
• Working knowledge of staffing systems (preferred)

Education & Licensure

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required)
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current Massachusetts nursing license required

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Additional Requirements

• Documented evidence of continuing education and professional growth in healthcare and nursing
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Traveler’s permanent address must be included in profile
• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted at time of application; no scheduling changes allowed after offer
• Work history and skills checklist (pertinent to position, current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• License and certifications must be uploaded with profile

Job Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the hospital, including inpatient units and all ancillary/support departments during assigned hours
• Serve as a role model for clinical expertise with ability to make prompt, quality decisions
• Support staff through change with energy and motivation
• Manage multiple intense activities or problems calmly and effectively
• Demonstrate fairness and consistency in applying policies and contractual requirements
• Maintain dependability in work schedule and work ethic to motivate others

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

• COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) required or approved exemption
• If exemption approved, traveler must wear a mask at all times on site

Prior Travel Experience
