Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Care

Location: Alpena, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assess client health needs, nursing care requirements, and deliver nursing care to assigned clients.
• Direct client assessments and planning of care by other nursing staff.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and ensure responsible care is provided.
• Implement nursing actions according to established standards, demonstrating competence in care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1+ years of Home Care RN experience (required).
• Experience with IVs, wound vacs, and central lines is highly preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and/or Nursys verification required).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
• Active Driver's License, auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV report (required).
• MI LTC Fingerprinting required for compliance.

Documentation

• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Home Health (required).
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years (required).

Additional Information
