Job Overview
- Location: La Jolla, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start date: Hard start only on 8/24 or 9/14
Key Responsibilities
- Work Sunday through Saturday scheduling as assigned
- Float to like units or lower-acuity units across the organization, excluding the ED, as needed
- Work 4 weekend shifts in each 4-week cycle
- Work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of CVICU experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Proof of W-4 on file
- 7-year criminal background check
- HHS/OIG check
- Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Flu vaccination or declination documentation for the current season
- Two satisfactory references
