Role Overview

Medical-surgical/telemetry float assignment
Must be willing to float to a sister facility about 25 minutes away
Weekly orientation
Minimal requested time off
Shorter contracts accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute or MAB - Management of Assaultive Behavior
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
EKG assessment required at orientation
Open-book EKG test required at orientation
Must be able to float as needed

Preferred Qualifications

CPI certification

Additional Notes

Not open to first-time travelers or local candidates
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend
The unit cares for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, including oncology, cardiac acute/medical care, post-surgical, bariatric, urology, neuro, orthopedics, hospice/palliative care, and patients with intellectual disabilities
