Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Englewood, Ohio
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract options: 13 or 18 weeks
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Traveler is first to float at the facility’s discretion, including to other campuses or a high-risk respiratory/COVID unit as needed
• Low-census cancellation rights apply

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• CPI
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
• Unit-specific Competency Exam
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• 2 references from within the last 2 years, with 1 from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN
• Current resume/application
• Skills checklist
• Employment verification if acceptable references are not available

Additional Compliance Items

• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify documentation
• Proof of name change, if applicable
• 7-year criminal background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam within 2 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 12 months prior to documentation due date
• Annual health questionnaire
• Candidate agreement
• Respiratory protection medical questionnaire and clearance
• Respiratory safety clearance
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
