Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Los Angeles, California
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 5x8s: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- No floating
- Weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- ARRT (CT)
- Siemens CT scanner operation
- Phillips CT scanner operation
- Abdomen imaging without and/or with contrast
- Chest imaging without and/or with contrast
- Vascular chest imaging (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
- Head imaging without and/or with contrast
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
- Starting peripheral IVs
- Aspirations
- Biopsies
- Experience with Epic
Key Clinical Skills
- Adult acute care
- Emergency department
- CT imaging of abdomen, chest, vascular chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
- Multiplanar reconstruction
- Starting peripheral IVs
- Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography
- Brain perfusion
- Colonography / virtual colonography
- CT arthrography
