Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Floating: all inpatient / acute care areas
- On-call not required
- Weekend shifts: yes
Role Focus
- Pediatric RRT role
- Must have PICU or NICU experience
- This is not an ICU-only role
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience working with Adolescent patients
- Experience in a Critical Care or NICU or PICU setting
- Airway management
- Experience with vent management
- Experience with BiPAP
- Experience with CPAP
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Preferred
- Trauma, Level 1 trauma, ER, or Teaching/Community Hospital experience
- Skills with high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, EKGs, Code Repose, and Rapid Response
- Children’s hospital experience
- EPIC familiarity
Scheduling Notes
- No RTO within the first 2 weeks of start
- Only 3 shifts of RTO can be approved
- Traveler must work 2 of 3 holiday groupings
- Unit specifically needs NYE and Thanksgiving coverage
