Role Summary

Skilled home care / home health RN assignment
Home skilled visits: 6–8 per day
Patients may include cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx/Aseptdrain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, glucometer use, pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, lab draw venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or Midline care and dressing change, and SQ port access/deaccess

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health experience within the last year
1 year of Home Health experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
Must have infusion experience
Skilled home care experience with OASIS training and experience
IV skills and wound care
Experience with high risk diagnoses: HF, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, Stroke
Post-op care
Experience with PICC line or Midline care and dressing change
Experience with wound vac dressing
Experience with Pleurx/Aseptdrain care
Experience with foley catheter change and care
Experience with staple/suture removal
Experience with OASIS

Important Notes

Private duty nursing experience only is not accepted
Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on home care office needs
Must wear a mask at all times if flu vaccination is declined
Scrubs: any solid color scrub

Documentation / Compliance

Driver’s license must remain active and current during the assignment
Personal or auto insurance is required for home health positions and must remain current during the assignment
Physical exam within 6 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 10 weeks of start
TB questionnaire required annually
Standard 9-panel drug test including THC within 30 days
References: 2 from within the past 2 years
