ICU RN

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Candidate must be able to float between multiple ICU areas and Telemetry
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Only 2 days of requested time off are approved

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Stroke experience
• Cardiac experience
• Trauma experience
• Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stroke/neuro, cardiac, cath lab/open heart, trauma, or general ICU care

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check completed within 30 days of start
• Drug screen completed within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• TB clearance and TB questionnaire
• Tdap within 10 years or declination
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C documentation
• Fit testing for N95 mask
• Signed pre-start facility documents and acknowledgments
• Annual competency and skills documentation may be required to remain current
