Overview

Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
Start: ASAP
13-week assignment
Day shift, 8 hours per day
Schedule cannot be 4x10s or 3x12s
Home health setting
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted within a 50–75 mile radius
May be called off up to one shift per pay period
No on-call requirement
No floating between like units
Block scheduling not accommodated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Home Health experience
Home Health experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Experience with OASIS

Assignment Details

Ratio: 1:1
May visit up to 6 patients per day
Standard productivity: 30 points
Traveler must have their own transportation
Occasional daily travel radius may be up to about 60 miles, with 60–90 minutes total drive time

Background check
Education verification
Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Drug screen
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Tdap within 10 years
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation or declination as allowed
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
Respirator safety clearance
Washington border-facility search requirements apply
Oregon/Washington meal and rest period waiver required for candidates floating to a Washington facility
