Operating Room Nurse

Location

Saint Louis, Missouri

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
8-week assignment
Day shift, 8-hour shifts as needed
1:1 patient ratio
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Start date: 3–4 weeks out, per compliance tier

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Skills / Role Expectations

Circulate and scrub in the operating room
Experience with eye, orthopedic, gynecologic, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, ENT, and cardiac cases
GI lab scrubbing and circulating is a plus

Schedule / Work Conditions

No call
No weekends
No holidays
No floating within scope to meet facility needs
1 request for time off per contract

Additional Notes

CNOR is preferred but not required
Epic documentation is used
Scrub color is provided
Parking has a daily charge for day shift; straight night shift parking is free
