Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Conway, South Carolina
• Night shift: 7p-7a, 3x12 hours
• 13-week contract
• Adults only
• Patient/nurse ratio: 1:6, flexing to 1:7 when necessary
• EOW required
• Self-scheduling and blocked scheduling allowed
• Black scrubs

Role Details

• MS/Tele Float; will float to other MS/Tele units where needed
• Diagnosis mix includes medical, surgical, and cardiac patients
• Tele monitoring on the unit is required
• RN is expected to have primary IV skills
• RT covers specialty IV

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• IV insertion skills
• Float experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Float pool experience
• PCU/Step Down experience
• No RTO for any holidays is preferred, though one holiday may be considered
