Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location

  • Mountain Home, Arkansas

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Travel/contract position
  • Day shift, 4x10 hours
  • Call required: 9 to 10 days per month

Role Summary

  • Provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab
  • Administers medications
  • Performs sterilization techniques
  • Assists the physician with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions
  • Acts as patient advocate

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Arkansas
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN or MSN

Additional Notes

  • Safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593 governing medical marijuana
