Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
- Traveler choice for schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience with high acuity postpartum care
- High-risk obstetric care experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience managing 4 couplets
- Magnesium experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Large-volume, high-census postpartum unit
- May be asked to manage a 4th couplet during census surge
- Standard assignment includes 4 couplets
Floating
- May float to postpartum at Issaquah Campus, postpartum at Edmonds Campus, and Labor and Delivery for the 2nd hour of recovery
Additional Experience Preferences
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- JADA experience preferred

- Magnesium administration
- Pitocin
- Foley catheter care
- Postpartum hemorrhage management
- Substance withdrawal care
Schedule Notes
- 6 weekend days per contract
