Job Details

• Location: Chicago, Illinois
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, 2 weekends per month
• Floating: Mandatory float facility; floating is required at the facility’s discretion
• Call: N/A
• Time Off Requests: Up to 5 days max, with no more than 2 consecutive; no holiday RTO; no RTO the day before or after a holiday; no RTO on weekends
• Scrub Color: Navy blue
• Charting: Cerner
• Parking: Free, first come first served

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Valid LPN / LVN license in Illinois
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Completion of coursework for medication administration (Pharmacology) as a Practical Nurse in accordance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation standards
• Available for an in-person interview
• Must pass a Department of Corrections background check before interview scheduling
• Must provide a valid State ID or Driver’s License, front and back
• Must complete a PREA form

Preferred Experience

• Two years of recent full-time paid clinical experience in an acute care health facility or ambulatory care facility

• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs
