ER Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in West Hollywood, California
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 48 hours per week
• Weekend required
• No floating
• No on-call
• October and November starts only: 10/26, 11/02, 11/16

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
• PALS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Flu vaccine, no exemptions
• Must work 2 of the major holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas, NYE, NYD
• Extended RTO of 2+ days during holiday weeks will not be approved
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated

Additional Requirements

• Pending license not accepted
• Government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• 2 professional references, including 1 supervisory reference
• Pass/fail testing and competency testing required during orientation
• Fire card required within the first 6 months of working at the facility
• Photo for badge required before start
• Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing
• State license verification
• Medication test during orientation
• Background check and education verification required
