Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER (Night Shift)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Immediate need for night shift Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
• Must be able to start ASAP.
• Required skills include IV start.
• Work within a 50-mile radius restriction.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Certifications & Compliance

• ACLS and BLS must be AHA certified.
• Background checks including criminal, SSN trace, county searches (last 7 years), nationwide sex offender check.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals.
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Immunizations and titers required or facility-specific declination forms for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or vaccine series)
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
• Drug testing (10 panel) within 30 days of start for new candidates.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required.
• COVID vaccination or declination required.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of approximately 81 Relias program modules prior to first shift and orientation.
• Badge photo required (no hats, sunglasses, filters, or altered images).
• Must sign job description, data access confidentiality, employee health questionnaire, and vaccine declination forms if applicable.
• Proof of 2 clinical references required.
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked through any agency.
• Skills checklist must be updated annually.
• Internal evaluation required if employed over 2 years.
