Registered Nurse — PCU/Oncology

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Ventura, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• ASAP start
• Must be able to float to Med Surg
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Every other weekend required

Unit / Patient Population

• Adult to geriatric patients
• Medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry
• Patients requiring chemotherapy
• Average census: 8
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• 8 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Med Surg experience
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• TCAR - Trauma Care After Resuscitation
• NIHSS
• ONS/ONCC
• Chemotherapy certification
• Must be able to manage telemetry and oncology-related care
