Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbia, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Overview

Work every other weekend and 50% of holidays.
Floating required primarily within Adult ICU cluster; may float to Med Surg areas if not needed in ICU cluster.
Position is very active: requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs.
Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is routine.
Facility operates 24/7, requiring rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather.
Must be able to:
- Work at assigned location for full contract term
- Work substantial portion of assigned shifts
- Take call
- Work assigned weekends and at least 50% of holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
