Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Stockton, California
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months) preferred
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 36 hours guaranteed per week
Shift:

  • 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
  • Occasional weekend coverage as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) specialty preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
  • California license required and must be in hand within 8 weeks

Certifications & Documents Needed

  • Licenses: California state license
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (current and clear copy)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
    • National Tech Certification as applicable (for tech roles)
  • Background Checks:
    • Standard background check (7-year search including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender)
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM check (annual)
    • HHS/OIG check (annual)
  • Competency Exams:
    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
    • General Competency Exam (as applicable)

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start date
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific guidelines for past positives)
  • Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
    • Varicella (titer, vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
  • 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Additional Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Emergency Contact Form prior to start
  • 2 professional references (for travel, allied, per diem acute care roles) within 3 years of start
  • Annual skills checklist
