LVN / LPN Travel/Contract Position

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Work involves 1 to 2 days per week in the field visiting patients' homes to support the Physician.
• Remaining days are telehealth calls conducted from the office (High Point location).

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements & Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid State License (Primary Source Verification required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
• National Tech Certification Verification - as applicable

Background Checks

• 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required annually
• HHS/OIG check required annually

Health & Immunization

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire for positive responders
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Competency Exam as applicable by specialty

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Two professional references within 3 years of start
• Annual skills checklist
• Nursing competency self-assessment (for RNs)

This role is ideal for LVNs/LPNs comfortable with a hybrid work model involving both in-home patient visits and telehealth support.
