Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Boone, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 4x10 hour shifts (varies day off)
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call required (typically 1-2 call-ins per week, minimal)

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
  • At least 1 year prior travel experience required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Skills:

  • Moderate Sedation experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system (recent experience required)
• Licensure:

  • Must hold a valid North Carolina license or a Multistate license for Cath Lab Tech

Additional Requirements

• Must reside more than 40 miles from the facility (address verification required)
• Driver’s license required for address verification
• Dress code: scrubs must be all navy or all white

Compliance and Documentation

• Background check: 7-year criminal history, updated annually
• Drug screening: 10-panel including marijuana, within 90 days of start, updated annually
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (seasonal)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B titers or vaccinations as required
• Physical exam: initial and annual updates attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Various facility-specific orientation and competency exams must be completed

• This is a travel/contract position with a defined 13-week duration.
• Prior travel experience is explicitly required.
