Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical care. This is a travel contract position requiring floating to different units as needed. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience, with experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Floating between units is required

Patient Population

• Adults and Geriatrics.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work at the assigned location for the full contract term.
• Must be able to work the substantial portion of assigned shifts.
• Must be able to take call and work assigned weekends.
• Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract.

Compliance & Documentation

• Background checks including 7-year history and various federal/state exclusions required.
• Drug screening (7-panel) required within 60 days of start.
• Immunizations and health screenings required, including:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years or approved exemption.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity.
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start.
• Professional references (2) within last 2 years.
• Resume with at least 7 years of employment history, no gaps over 30 days.
• State-specific background checks and registrations as required by Missouri.

Notes

• This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to different units and patient needs.
• The facility operates 24/7, so shift work including nights and holidays is expected.
• Prior travel experience is not required.
• Floating is mandatory.
• Candidates must be prepared for a physically active role.
