Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department (ED)
Academic/Teaching facility with approximately 130 patients per day
42 beds including 5 trauma rooms
No on-call required
Floating within scope is not required
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
Local candidates not accepted (70-mile radius rule)
Pending license accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED)/ER nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience at a Level 1 trauma facility
Certifications required:
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system required
