Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a home health setting covering the Houston market area.
• Position is ideally temp-to-hire.
• Patient population includes home health, wound care, and geriatric home health patients.
• Focus on quality of care rather than number of patients; approximately 25-30 points per week.
• Charting must be completed onsite using Kinnser/Wellsky systems.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Home Health, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in a Home Health setting.
• At least 1 year of management experience overall as a clinician, including management roles within a Home Health setting.
• BLS certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
• No weekend work required.
• On-call duties are discretionary and based on center requests.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted.
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between patient visits (not to/from home).
• Dress code: Any color scrubs with closed-toe shoes.
• Free parking available.
• COVID and flu vaccinations are not required.
• Compliance documents must be completed before starting patient care (may take 2-3 weeks).
• All requested time off must be submitted with application; no additional time off accepted after offer.
