Required Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications
- Sterile Processing Tech license/certification as applicable
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification preferred
- Other certifications (PALS, NRP, CHEMO, EFM, IV Certification, MAB, NIH Stroke, CPI) as required by unit or clinical track
- NURSYS verification required for RNs (if applicable)
- State professional license copy as applicable
Experience
- Prior travel experience required (explicitly stated)

Background & Screening
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification required for all candidates
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow infection prevention protocols
References & Employment History
- Minimum of 2 references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates worked
- Work history verification required if exceptions to references are requested
Competencies & Training
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Competency exams required as applicable by specialty
- EFM training required for Labor & Delivery RNs only (not applicable here)
- Color blind testing if specifically requested
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required via LMS (Workramp)
- Epic training modules required for access to electronic charting system
Additional Requirements
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
- Float policy acknowledgement required (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
- WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses Demographic Attestation required if applicable
- Various state-specific background and registry checks required for Washington and Oregon placements
