Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
Schedule Details:

Every other weekend required, as scheduled
Holidays required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating within specialty as needed
No on-call required

Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required)

Required Licenses and Certifications

CRT or RRT license
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Job Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services within the specialty
Float within the specialty as needed
Work scheduled shifts including every other weekend and holidays

Required Qualifications and Compliance

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maryland
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Additional Notes

No on-call duties required
Floating within respiratory specialty as needed
Compliance with facility-specific confidentiality, dress code, and other policies required prior to start
Time-sensitive documents and agreements must be completed before start date
