Overview
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 37.5 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT
- Experience using Siemens NAETOM ALPHA PEAK equipment
- Experience using Philips Brilliance ICT 256 equipment
- Cardiac CT experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce quality diagnostic images
- Complete daily quality control calibration checks and equipment safety tests
- Inject patients with radioactive material per physician order and prescribed protocol
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
- Maintain required documentation, logs, manuals, and charge documents
- Manage patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation
- Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses in advance and verify receipt and activity level before administration

- The role involves patient assessment and response before, during, and after radiology visits
