Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Job Summary

The ER Nurse Manager oversees the efficient and effective operation of the Emergency Department (ED) on a 24-hour basis. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and managerial skills to coordinate nursing personnel and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. The manager must also be willing to work as ED staff when needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage nursing staff in the Emergency Department around the clock
• Coordinate ED activities and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain quality patient care
• Balance clinical duties with managerial and administrative responsibilities
• Serve as ED staff as required
• Support a customer-oriented and dynamic leadership approach to drive excellence in emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Strong leadership and clinical expertise in emergency nursing
• Experience in managing nursing personnel and departmental operations
• Ability to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
