ASC REGISTERED NURSE

Location

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 0700–1530
1st shift
40 hours per week

Contract Length

14 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Ambulatory Surgery (1 year of experience)
Ambulatory Surgery experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Phone triage skills
Pre-admission testing knowledge
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
1 year in Med/Surg, ambulatory surgery, PACU, or OR nursing
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Role Summary

Provides direct and indirect nursing care in an ambulatory surgery center
Performs peri-operative assessment and supports perioperative patient care
May cross-train/float and help meet fluctuating staffing needs
