Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Location: West Reading, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

• Evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions
• Perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including:

  • Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)
  • Compression bandaging and garment fitting
  • Therapeutic exercises
  • Skin care education
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Certification in Lymphedema Therapy (CLT)
• Experience treating lymphedema patients
• Ability to evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions
• Proficient in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression bandaging and garment fitting, therapeutic exercises, and skin care education
