Medical Lab Technician II – Blood Bank
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Expected Hours: 36 hours per week
Job Description
- Position in Blood Bank specializing in adult and neonate patient samples
- Experience with blood bank computer system (SoftBank) and analyzer (Grifols Erytra) required
- Familiarity with Erytra Gel and Tube testing methods
- Work environment: 500-bed hospital
Required Qualifications
- Certification: ASCP or AMT required
- Modality: Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Experience with Cerner PowerChart Millennium is preferred
- No specific license required beyond certification
