Medical Lab Technician II – Blood Bank

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Expected Hours: 36 hours per week


Job Description

  • Position in Blood Bank specializing in adult and neonate patient samples
  • Experience with blood bank computer system (SoftBank) and analyzer (Grifols Erytra) required
  • Familiarity with Erytra Gel and Tube testing methods
  • Work environment: 500-bed hospital

Required Qualifications

  • Certification: ASCP or AMT required
  • Modality: Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Experience with Cerner PowerChart Millennium is preferred
  • No specific license required beyond certification

Additional Information

  • Parking available at $74/month (self-pay lot)
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Start date: ASAP
