Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years as an experienced Medical-Surgical RN
• Must have ICU and ER experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Michigan RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week, overtime after 48 hours
• Weekend/Holiday rotation every other weekend/holiday
• Float to ICU as needed
• On-call with minimum 2-hour callback

Patient Population and Unit Info

• Med Surg unit with 25 beds
• Patient ratios: Day 1:4-1:5, Night 1:6 average
• Typically geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes

Skills and Systems

• Strong charting experience required
• Familiarity with Care Scape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis medication dispensing system

Additional Information

• Scrub colors: Any color allowed
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Preference for candidates with contract experience in colder climates (Midwest, Northeast, Mountain regions) for winter start dates
• Mandatory flu and COVID vaccination policy during flu season; unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
