Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 8-hour days (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
Float Requirements: Floating between inpatient and outpatient care
Weekend & Holiday Requirements: None required
Patient Ratios: 1:1 always
Setting: Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient speech therapy in a rural healthcare environment
Charting System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
CCC-A or CCC-SLP certification
AHA or ARC certifications (per facility policy)
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience preferred
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient care required
Training or experience in LSVT and vocal fold treatment highly preferred

Additional Information

Radius Rule: Must be located at least 50 miles away from the facility
On-call/call back: Not required, but travelers may be placed on call for low census hours with call back pay if called in
Flu and COVID vaccination required during flu season or mask must be worn at all times per facility policy
Rural healthcare setting with a variety of case types
