Registered Nurse – Cardiac Device Specialist

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Device Specialist (Electrophysiology)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
• Floating: Will float throughout the main hospital and cardiology clinic
• Patient Load: Assist 12-20 patients per day
• Charting System: EPIC experience required within the last year
• Dress Code: Navy bottoms with white or black tops strongly required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac device work
• Experience independently investigating cardiac device transmissions and interpreting urgency levels (Red, Yellow, Green)
• Remote transmission experience required
• Murj experience strongly preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed
• Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable time
• Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick start)
